Environmental Policy

Principally, Arikan has adopted ISO 14001 Environment Management System as a means to serve high quality products achieving customer satisfaction in an environmentally friendly manner and to provide better life quality for next generations.

To increase the performance of the system, our policy is composed of main principles as listed below:

1) Abiding by Laws, Legal Regulations and Other Requirements:

To comply with the prevailing legal regulations and other requirements which we are liable to, within an environmental scope. To meet the environmental requirements of our customers.

2) Protecting Natural Resources:

To aim to use natural resources (energy, raw material, fuel, water etc.) with minimum impact on environment in the scope of our activities and to protect these resources by using them in an optimum manner.

3) Keeping All Types of Waste Under Control:

To reduce the production-borne effects on the environment so far as possible at source.

4) Preventing Environmental Pollution:

To prevent industrial pollution in all aspects of production, starting from product development until mass production and to support sustainable development.

5) Communication, Training, Consciousness-raising;

To gain the support of our employees, our business contacts and the local community by means of continuous training and communication activities.

6) Continuous Improvement;

To work in line with continuous improvement principles.
